1. Adopt The Right Mindset

The most important MLM marketing technique you need to adopt at the outset is the right mindset.

If you’re building an opt in list you might think I’m crazy suggesting you can profit from unsubscribes … but you can.

I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time and as a Network Marketer I often hear from people who are so nervous when a few people drop out of their lists. I understand completely because not so long ago I was in the same position.

When you’re building an opt in list and people start to unsubscribe, you begin to question whether the information in your emails is valuable or not.

You begin to question your marketing skills.

After hearing so many success stories from top network marketers bragging about their huge lists it certainly makes your little list of two hundred look rather like a badly cooked burger alongside a fillet steak.

However I can assure you, they have thousands of people opting out of their list as well as ones that opt in.

It’s not just a numbers game. When you’re building an opt in list, it’s the QUALITY of the list that counts.

Let me explain.

If you’re selling an affiliate product that costs $25.00 and you send it to your list of five hundred people, it’s better to have 20% of your list buying based on your recommendation than have less than 1% on a list of ten thousand made up of mostly freebie seekers.

Although the sums are nearly the same, the actual costs of running such a campaign and the expenses of keeping an autoresponder can begin to eat into your profits if you have a massive list that is unresponsive.

So in essence, each time you send an email directing your list to an affiliate link, a few unsubscribes won’t hurt you. You’ll actually save money in the long run and be able to qualify the remaining people on your list and turn them into hungry buyers.

Qualifying people into a BUYERS LIST is the name of the game.

When you’re building an opt in list, as soon as someone on your list turns into a buyer you can place them into a special email list where you can send high targeted emails aimed at continuing your good fortune.

Sending daily emails also helps to build a rapport with your subscribers.

If indeed they do not like the frequency of emails then let them have the pleasure of unsubscribing. Your lists stay clean and up to date and your unsubscribes are happily off searching for the next golden goose. Believe me, your loyal readers will be willing to hear more from you.

Keeping your lists squeaky clean from spam complaints and freebie seekers helps you build profitable campaigns. You want to be building an opt in list that is targeting people who want to hear what you have to say and will purchase on your recommendation.

So, the next time someone opts out of your list, celebrate! You no longer have to pay fees to maintain them and you lessen your risk of complaints.

Start thinking long and hard about the kind of information you’re sending out and how often you are doing it.

Send an email every day to your list and keep an eye on who’s opening your emails. If you’ve sent a particularly excellent email out and it didn’t get opened by some, then segment your list, tweak the message a little and send it again. You’d be surprised how much you can increase your open rates by re-sending emails.

Getting free MLM Leads from the search engines is easier than you might think …

The life of any MLM business depends on getting highly targeted and relevant MLM leads. Although there are a lot of ways to purchase MLM leads there are also ways to generate free MLM leads.

Now as you know, Google is the Big Kahuna on the internet. It’s the only search engine you’ll ever need to consider because it delivers over 75% of all search engine traffic.

Google has its own set of rules and regulations of what it accepts and highly regards and it is wise to consider these when working on your blog or website.

Google has unleashed a variety of algorithm updates (the latest being the Penguin update) over the last couple of years to try and get high quality sites ranking at the top and penalize sites that do not meet expectations.

In order to get the best rank in Google you’ll need to do a range of different tasks. If you’re following the methods outlined in Empower Network training you’ll already know the importance of keyword research and be familiar with some free tools.

Keyword research is vital if you want to rank and get traffic. Once you’ve found a few golden nuggets you can go on to doing some on page optimization.

This means you write an article using the keywords you’ve found. Sprinkle a few of those keywords and LSI keywords (keywords closely related to the one keyword you have chosen) and place them strategically in the article. Remember to use the keywords in the title but be creative.

If you’re using WordPress, remember to fill out the SEO details for the SEO plugins. This will help optimize your site for the search engines. Select a few tags and base these round your keywords.

Now that you have completed the on page optimization you can start the process of off page optimization.

As all good webmasters know, backlinks are the key to a good SEO campaign. Once the on page optimization is completed you can start the process of building high quality links to your website.

A good free tool to help you do this is Comment Kahuna. This is essentially a blog commenting tool and you use it by selecting your keyword and waiting for the software to find relevant blogs and websites.

Once it has finished processing you can read the posts and comment on them leaving your URL. The website or blog will ask for your name, your website, and/or your keyword.

Basically what happens is that the place where you insert your name acts like an anchor text. So when you put your keywords in, this will reflect in your backlink profile and Google will know where to place your website and how far up the ranks you go.

Once the comment is approved by the owner you gain that backlink. It’s important to not put your keyword in all the time as Google now penalizes sites that are over optimized. But used sparingly and with variations of your name and website name, you should be good to go.

The software also gives you the pagerank of the post page and the domain. The higher the PR then the more Google will think it’s relevant to their searchers. The more relevant Google thinks you are, the higher you rank in the search engines.

If you do blog commenting everyday and dedicate some time in your routine, slowly your backlink profile will build and you will start getting free traffic.

Plus the excellent thing is, this traffic is highly targeted and interested in your offer.

Now we get to the heart of the matter … getting free MLM leads.

If you have an autoresponder set up with AWeber for example, and you have give your visitors an opportunity to “opt-in” for a free offer of training or an ebook, then you have essentially created your own source of free MLM leads that you can then promote your MLM opportunity to another time.

So now that you know how to get free MLM leads from the search engines. Use it wisely. Google is always looking out for sites manipulating the system unfairly and you can be penalized quite harshly.

So … in conclusion.

Treat Google well and Google will treat you well. Always abide by the rules and avoid any shortcuts. It’s easy getting into a routine to blog comment every day so make sure it is a part of yours.

Over time and within months or even weeks in some cases you will begin to see a lot of visitors coming to your site and essentially you have now created a traffic flow of free MLM leads for life.

This Empower Network review is totally biased …

I just want you to know that right up front. If that bothers you then don’t read on and don’t see how this Empower Network review could create the financial freedom you’ve been looking for.

I was chatting with a team member today and they were presented me with the age old question: “How do I present this opportunity to people I know when I don’t have any Empower Network results yet?”

To give you a bit of history we joined the MLM industry back in July of 2011. We were completely brand new to the world of Multi Level Marketing and Network Marketing and the only thing we were told to do, was make a list of everyone we knew starting with family and friends and introduce all of them to our new opportunity.

We were enthusiastic in the beginning and signed up a few people but we soon worked out that we were going to run out of our warm market pretty quickly.

And then it became quite apparent that in order for us to be successful we were either going to need to develop extremely engaging personalities and hit Wal-Mart or we were going to have to look further afield.

Well, the idea of hitting Wal-Mart didn’t appeal so we hit the internet instead.

So, fast forward to the present day.
